Losing color settings

Whenever I launch a game such as Joint Ops or Half-Life/Counter-Strike my system reverts back to the default brightness/gamma/contrast settings. When I exit the game I have to go back into the Control Ceneter and readjust them.

I have a Radeon 9800XT, what's going on guys!?!?
