ooookay, i've tried everything i could think of. i'm running a p5b-vm SE board with an E8400, for some reason whenever i OC it even a tad i lose my integrated network adapter, it doesn't show up AT ALL in devices or anything.... then as soon as i set my bios back to default it comes back. Is this a power issue i'm assuming? is it the board? should i get a new board if i plan on OC'ing?


ps, it runs stable as all get out when it OCs...just no internet :mad:
 
Probably a motherboard issue.

RMA the board, or, PCI NIC?
 
Any reason you'd need PC8800 ram? I could only see using that where I'd be taking my FSB up to 500 and beyond.
 
mainly for future builds, got a deal on it /shrug. current board wont even take it past ddr800... yea probubly should of looked that up before i bought em but oh well, def some solid sticks.
