Loose Ends

The update videos you guys have been posting are great. Thanks for the heads up that the i7 SLI scaling numbers are incoming. My "buy" finger is getting itchy for an i7 940 and a Biostar x58.

That Herman Miller knock-off is great, isn't it. Wish I would have seen it before I paid a premium for the Aeron.

Thanks for the updates Kyle , I was wondering about that Asus netbook when it came to typing so thanks again. (will be waiting for the new one)

BTW Kyle you forgot to say Merry Christmas but that's ok. :p

I'm looking at buying the same chair. I usually have to replace mine every two years or so anyway. Hopefully one of those will last me longer.

Kyle, can you please put a small description of the video underneath the video so we know what we will be watching for 13 minutes? Simply putting the title "Loose Ends" up leaves the content for what will be found in the video up for interpretation, is it a knitting how-to, [H] core porn, or some sort of end of the year wrap up?

Not only that but alot of DFI's team went over to Foxconn. I don't think it's the same team that created the excellent DFI P35-LT. When their P45 board came out it was far and few between updates, bios and support. I was keep an eye on that motherboard but unfortunately there are better options out there.

Wait are you saying the team that created the DFI P35 didn't work on the DFI P45? Or are you saying the team that left to Foxconn is not the P35 team? This may definitely sway my next mobo purchase decision if DFI is becoming a shadow of it's past.

The same way Abit self-imploded and let Oskar Wu go to DFI? Is it like that?

I can imagine that produces more issues than just having them make guest appearances in videos. Its a pain not to be able to speak to the people you work with/who work for you in person all the time. I'm working with people in different parts of the world with a little start-up site I'm working on and its a real pain to make sure people are staying on task when dealing with so many time-zones.

Well, the motherboard guys are local. I think almost everyone else is remote though.

Same here. I'm going to place the order after the 1st of the year.
