hi, i just ran a defragment on my hard drive last night at about 12. i went to school and i got back at 3 and i checked on it and its only 54% done. is there soemthing wrong? its a WD 350g drive with 16 mb cache.
 
That does seem long. What defragger are you using, and if applicable, what level of defragging?

 
If it seems to be taking forever download a trial of diskeeper professional and run that. It ll move about 3 times faster and do a better job. Most normal people only end up with a severely fragmented drive about every 12 months and since diskeeper has a new 30-day trial every year. I suggest everyone take advantage of it.
