I like that it's 16mm thin, but I doubt we'll ever see a decent monitor built like that.
 
Specifications are pretty sparse right now. How do you know it's a TN panel? I haven't seen any information specifying the type of panel yet.
 
I would say 99% certainty it is TN. 2ms response time.

Other than that LED is a novelty today, but the advantages are not that significant. LED is the future, but it will be driven by the need to go green, so in 3 years, practically all of the LCDs will have LED BLU, and there won't be a premium for it. Today you pay early adopter prices for very little benefit.

Much more interesting is the cheap e-IPS screens from LG. First showing in the new 22" dell. That is a real benefit for very little premium.
