about 3 years ago i built my own system but now im finding out that to play the game i like at over 9 FPS i need a better video card. im currently running a tnt2 on a k7s5a motherboard.

the computer works fine for what i need it for but i know this is an old computer so whats basically the best card i can get for around $100. does the k7s5a support newer vid cards?

I'm not entirely sure.... see if it supports AGP 3.0 then yes. otherwise, no.

However a new video card may not be what you need. What's your proc like? and your ram? because games as of late are limited by many factors, while video cards are a big one, bottlenecks in other areas can hurt you just as bad.

Excellent board, I put them in many systems. Never a hicup. What games, processor, memory?

get a geforce 4 ti4200 128mb if you can find it... if not get a 9600pro.

If you cant quite squeeze in the 9600 pro, get the 9600 non pro. (not the se)
