Well this is gonna be my lonely project for the upcoming summer. My goal is a very quiet computer. My specs are in the sig I dont want to change it if I dont have too. I want to case to be made by Lian-Li. I was really interested in the V1200B plus, but i have heard its not the best for quietness. I really want a deep case with room to work. I currently have a TT Tsunami and I find that it is very hard to work with and difficult to make really quiet. So what other cases would you sugest?

See, personally, that's the worst looking SilverStone case out there. Unfortunately, I don't have any experience with it, but I just couldn't get past the looks... Any of the other Temjin cases would look better, except maybe the 05 for the Thermaltake look.

Of course, if somebody has an extra 07 that they want to FedEx to me just to prove me wrong, I wouldn't turn it down! :)

I currently just bought a new Lian-Li PC-201B case and then thing has plenty of room plus this is there Classical silent Series model. Plus I added a couple of Scythe 120mm fans to it which only put out around 28dBA. One of my buddies has the v1200 case so I know what you are talking about with the noise. Most of that case is ventilated with all of that mesh so its kinda of hard to hide the noise. I would go with one of there new models either the 101 or the 201.

Its kinda of a different look in the front but a sweet case!

V1200 will be quiet system with sytem beeing cool. It has air flow in upper chamber , different from what Lian-li's upside down chassis that has front door.

P180 is very common in the quiet PC users. It keeps mild airflow with front door.

I really like the PC101 and 201. Do you think they will have a v1200 veriosn of the PC series? That would be absoulty perfect. If not i think i will get the pc201

Lian-li's stock fan is not quiet. I don't know whether its fan can be changed , the VGA side fan won't good for quiet PC build.. And it is said oftenly , side panel hole make more noise come directly out from CPU cooler and disturb air flow.

If you consider quiet performance , I'll recommend you to see other people's reviews about those cases before buying ones :)
