Looking to possibly upgrade GPU

Hello,

My computer is a decent gaming comp, with things running usually on mid or high settings which is fine by me.

I'm looking to upgrade my GPU however, to something cheap-ish if possible (looking to spend less than $200).

I have a lot more recent experience with NVIDIA than AMD so I would prefer to stay with NVIDIA.

Is it worth it for me to upgrade my gpu given my configuration, or am I being bottlenecked by my CPU for example?

If it is worth it, could someone recommend the most appropriate video card for my needs and budget please?

Thanks!

a 960 runs 200 bucks and would do you just fine (provided you're staying at 1080p.)

960 would be your best bet. Should be a big upgrade.

If you didn't want to spend that much even a 750ti would be a decent jump from what you have.

I got a used 290 in the for sale section for $190. I would go that route.

Yeah a 960 would make a HUGE difference in your gaming experience.

I'm planning to pick one up here soon as well.
