Can anyone recommend one that is good for gaming (e.g., CS:Source)?

I am not a huge gamer, but I use the logitech mx700, and have for some time and I really like it,

MX-1000, simple as that. Extremely accuate, huge battery time plus a cradle so no replacing batteries, works on pretty much any surface, not too heavy, looks/feels good. List just goes on and on. Basically its an mx-700 on olympic class steroids.

I dont know how the logitech is, but the microsoft elite for blue tooth that i have is not good for gaming, i have to plug in a coreded usb mouse. but other than that i like the system. the fact the the blue tooth reciever is the size of the a thumb drive is nice as well.

I've had a wireless mouse for almost two years now (MX700), and while it is nice to not have a cord, it's ultimately more of a pain than a convenience. Living in a dorm with a bunch of people who all own cell phones and other wireless devices, there's always something to interfere with the signal. There is also some noticable mouse lag in some games while using it. I'm pretty sure my next mouse will be wired.

Damn, from what I've been reading I thought wireless was finally catching up to the wired mice. I guess i'll hold out a little longer before I get a wireless mouse.

I was looking at the MX700 too. THe MX1000 is too expensive.

mx1000 no doubt about it thats what I got. and as far as price.. wait until the new mx1000 replacement comes out from Logitech... this new mouse will have 2 lithion batteries =double its uber batter life.. and its going to be the same original price of the mx1000.
This will cause the mx1000 to drop in price a bit.. you can also find the mx1000 in places like sams club for like 59 bucks. Awesome price for the best wireless mouse available currently.
