Looking to build a SFF - Which Case?

Does anyone know if you can get the Ultra Microfly w/o the windows and w/o a power supply. I would hate to pay extra for something I will be replacing.

Check spec below for SFF suggestion.

The SD37P2 comes with a 400 watt PSU (by SilentX) which is capable of running my E6600 at 3.0 ghz as well as a top-end DX9 card (X1950 XT) with absolutely no problems. This rig is rock-solid stable, small and compact, and weighs all of 5 kilograms or so.

If you're looking for SFF, do check out the Shuttle lineup.

Even though I want good solid products I still have a budget. With the lower end parts like a Ultra MicroFly, Ultra PSU, and MicroATX Motherboard it will be around $200-250. With the nicer case like the SS Sugo, it will be around $300-350. That is around $100-200 cheaper than the Shuttle. It is small and a good product but I could build something that is cheaper.

Nice they take PayPal. I just sold a bunch of stuff on eBay so I have the money. Thank you for the information Steve. I just purchased them for 135 with tax and shipping! Other websites were going to cost me $160 w/o shipping.

Never ordered anything from TigerDirect. Only thing that worries me is when I go to my order status, for both of the items it says "Returns NOT Accepted".

A little late but I thought I'd chime in with TJ08 or NSK3300.

So where are you at with the planning stage? Or have you passed it and placed an order?

I went ahead and got the Ultra MircoFly and the Ultra x2 power supply from Tiger Direct. I would have probably waited a bit longer but I could not pass their price. Now I will be somewhat like you Lamont, with the QPack clone. I am still debating painting the case right now. I think I will buy some spray paint today and try it out on my spare mouse to see how it goes. I might be buying the motherboard this weekend if I can figure out which one to get. TO MANY CHOICES!!!

If you are going to paint then hold off on the hardware. Doing a good paint job takes 2 weeks or so but its well worth it :)

Well, I will still buy the hardware. I won't have everything for another month or two so it won't be assembled.

I was orignally thinking blue but the inside will be glowing blue because of the LED's. Now I am thinking of a Yellow or Yellow/Black theme for the outside and blue inside. I may even paint the inside black and the ouside yellow. Dunno how it will look. I am going to go to Advanced Auto Parts today and see if I can find any good Duplicolor yellow spray.

no reason to buy the hardware if it's just going to be sitting...prices go down almost weekly so to get the hardware now (unless it's an insane deal like the MF was) is a waste.

Hopefully whatever you decide to do with the case will make me get off my ass and do something too :D

For those of you who have been following this thread, head on over to the following link to see the mouse I am painting. If the painting process continues the way it is going I will most likely be painting my case once it arrives.
