Hey guys im shopping around for a Widescreen for my new rig i see the most popular is the 2005fpw i was wondering if there anything better then this around the pricetag of 500 to 600 and im intrested in HD support thanks guys. Also ive been hearing about the Gateway WideScreen and the Samsung which one would be better i game all the time.

I have the gateway 21" one and let me tell u, it is awesome. One of the best purchases I have made. I will sumarize the big thread above. no ghosting, very nice stand easy to adjust, great black level, good contrast, sharp text using dvi. I exchanged it once and got one with uniform back light. there is a little bit of color wash, but so does most of the other PVA panels like 2405fpw. There is a slight buzzing noise, but I can't hear it over my pc and it goes away when u turn the brightness above 86. the component input is good, a little dark, but not that much. When u first set it up there is some color banding problem because windows displays it at 60hz refresh rate, so all u have to do is change it 75hz and the problem goes away.
U should DEFINITELY BUY IT! :D

HD support? Don't get the Dell....the Gateway however, DOES do HD as well as being HDCP compliant, something Vista will want if you are going to watch certain media types on your display.

thanks guys i guess ill be getting the Gateway and its only 100 dollers more so i say its worth it. :D
