Apparrently Google isn't my friend. I've tried & I keep coming up short.

I'm trying to find some wheels that roll in one direction only that can support about 50-60 lbs a piece. I would also like to find some model size ones too (i want to test some theories before making full size).

They have to be one way so skate wheels or chair wheels are out. I figger if any body knows a source it would be someone in this forum.

Don't wanna say what it's for just yet 'till I know weither I can do what i'm thinking. ;)

just hit up a home improvment place like home depo or something, and ask them, then go to that isle and walk around, get a feel for what you want to use, if you dont want the wheels to turn (vs role) i dont see why skate wheels wont work, they only go in one direction (or did you want to stay that you want them to go forward but never back, so you can only role in a forward direction, so not left, right, back, forward; or back, forward, but forward ?) then i dont know

sounds like you need some battlebot help. go to www.teamdavinci.com, click on the combat robots circle, and go to the links page. there are about 600 links there, organized into categories... most of the links work. you will almost certainly find what you are looking for in there.

other places:
mcmaster carr has everything. trust me.
smallparts.com has model stuff.

I would imagine that lowes or home depot has wheels....

Yeah they need to roll in a straight line forwards only. I need them to act like a ratchet for my purposes; so that definately leaves out skate wheels.

I'm Fairly familiar with HD/Lowes & I can't recall having ever seen something like this.

Cool I'll have to tale a look there & see if I can find a good source.

I've been looking at RC car wheels to make a prototype with but the cost vs useability is not so good there. The RC guys have just way too much money - heheh.

hey... being a battlebots NUT for 6mo. has its advantages... actually, come to think of it, there is a toy made by learning curve called robotix that has ratchets and wheels. good for the mockup only tho, lol.

technically they have been discontinued (shortly after last christmas) but you may be able to find some online somewhere.

ohhh this looks like it has potential. Got an email in to them. Unfortunately all the links to vendors on their site are broken so I'm not sure they are even in business anymore.

now to check google for (as they put it) zero rollback wheels.

For when falling in snow is just not painfull enough...

Oh & I have looked at Roller ski wheels, that's what lead me to the cross skate site. Roller Ski might work but I'm worried about rolling resistance.
