freeBSD version of howtoforge. Server tutorial setups so easy a toddler could set one up.

anybody know any??? :)

Likely sites (no time to re-check them myself today
and I've no experience setting up a server from scratch.)

freebsdwiki.net
onlamp.com
unix-tutorials.com

the new daemonforums.com has a *new* thread, titled
something like "useful links" that probably include 2 of the
three above, and tons more
and possibly forums.bsdnexus.com.
...............
the type of server, though, requires a lot of post-install
security configurations usually, whole tutorials on
those, you should peruse post-install pre-production
...............

One of the neat things about FreeBSD is its documentation is geared more twards understanding what the configuration and installation of a system actually means. Instead of following howtos and guides, one learns what the impacts each configuration decision means and how the software operates. Over the long haul, I think this is a much better approch.

The FreeBSD handbook is a good place to start for a good introduction to how the system operates and is configured. Investing some time now in understanding the operation of the system will greatly help you down the road.

I know where to find the answer but I'm going to leave it vague, just like the thread title.
