I have a set of 20WGX2 that I purchased a little over 3 years ago. One of the monitors is starting to fail; the buttons on the bottom of both monitors have already died, and I need to use the remote now to operate them. So I figure it's time for an upgrade.
I'm looking for a suitable replacement with a similar aspect ratio. After some research, I have come across 3 monitors: Dell 2311U, Dell 2410U, and HP w2558hc. I also came across the Panasonic Vierra S1, but this appears to be discontinued.
It's been about 4 years since my last upgrade, but I've noticed almost all new model LCDs have the same 1080P resolution; I'm looking more along the lines of 1900 x 1200.
Can I get a recommendation for a readily available current gen LCD that would be a suitable replacement for an aging 20WGX2? Preferably between 24" and 30"?
P.S. - I've seen the NEC Summer Event with the 20WGX2 on sale as a refurb; I'm looking to upgrade, not replace (with the same model).
