I recently bought a PS3 and want to hook it up to my Dell 2407. But my problem is that I have Xbox 360 connected to the VGA and PC on DVI. I don't wanna connect PS3 to the component as everyone knows it sucks on the 2407. So I read that what I need is a DVI switch for PC and PS3. Any suggestion to which switch I can get? I saw some are just $20 and some are in the $100+ range. Is the difference really that noticeable or it is only brand thing?

HDMI switches would probably be cheaper/better, just use the appropriate converter cables where needed. Monoprice.com has a good selection.

so if I get a HDMI switcher then I'll connect PS3 to switcher using HDMI -> HDMI cable, PC to Switcher using DVI -> HDM cable, and switcher to lcd using HDMI -> DVI cable?

DO I needa get good quality (expensive) cables?
