Has anyone done a mental price comparison to see if it is cheaper to buy two sets hardware that can handle 16 GB memory, versus the hardware that can actually function with 32 GB of memory [yah, I know the motherboard specs say they can do 32 GB, but I have a P8Z68-V/GEN3 which no longer runs reliably with 32 GB after a year of functioning. I've already spent more than a week adjusting tuning parameters, swapping out sticks of memory, I need something viable now. I'm just accepting that it can 'marginally handle 32 GB'.
Now I'm looking for something that can honestly handle 32 GB, but I keep running into the 'higher end boards/CPU costs start to suggest buying two lower end machines instead split up the load.
