Which would you choose among newegg's list? Or any other online store for that matter.

I will not overclock, however I would like to run them at CAS 2 and Dual Channel (nforce2) if at all possible.

If you're not overclocking it doesn't matter much as long as it's stable.

Ras to Cas and Ras Precharge mean much more than CAS.

Crucial value ram is probably the best one i am aware of. They use the same IC's in their value stuff as they do in their ballistix range. Will run 2-2-2 if u put enough volts through it. Will also OC nicely with some looser settings.

Really? I always thought CAS was more important?

Postal Dude, will look at Crucial.

It's nice and all. But 2.5 ~ 2 won't make as big a difference as 2 ~ 3 ~ 4 on those two would. Also TRAS (usually the big number) is even less significant.

Try to nab something that's 2.5-3-3-X or better if you can. Crucial's good stuff. What do you have now? The difference may not be as big as you think.

Hmm, how does this look? The low price has me worried, but OCZ is supposed to be a good brand, right?

I have a BuffaloTech 512MB stick with some sort of winbond chips on them I believe. Running at rated DDR400 but 2-3-3-11 instead of CAS 2.5. Basically wanted to go dual channel, would have liked to have the exact RAM, but can't find it anywhere for a half decent price. If I can run it at 2.5-3-3-11 dual channel, I'll be happy.

Yeah that's pretty good for a non-OC system. Might be able to get away with tighter timings if you add some voltage, but make sure to run Memtest on it to make sure it's stable if you try that.
