Hey all this is my current build and wondering what ya'll think upgrade wise I should do, its a Gaming PC. These are my current specs.

Intel Core i7 860 @ 2.80GHz Lynnfield
8.00 GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 668MHz (9-9-9-24)
ASUSTeK Computer INC. P7P55D-E PRO (LGA1156)
2047MB GeForce GTX 560 (EVGA)
238GB SAMSUNG SSD 830 Series ATA Device (SSD)
Windows 7 Professional

I also have a G510 keyboard and I think I want a mechanical one, since I hear people rave about them alot.

Oh and money really isn't the biggest issue, not looking to spend a fortune but if its a good deal.

So over all I think from what I know, the motherboard and processor are a little dated and I want to find a new keyboard. However if y'all think I should be upgrading anything else, please lemme know. Thanks!

Like I said earlier, not sure since some of what I have is still viable. But mostly CPU, Mobo, and Keyboard.

Your current CPU and mobo should last you until Intel's Haswell CPU launch next year. A CPU upgrade should help. I recommend the HD 7950 Or GTX 670.
 
As Danny said, Haswell won't be out until March - June 2013 timeframe. Are you experiencing any issues with your current setup or you just have the upgrade bug?

Screen resolution is 1920 x 1200. I want to play games like human absolution, black ops 2 ect. Everything runs fine now just got the upgrade itch.

Any suggestions on a mechanical keyboard?
 
Nvm on the Mechanical Keyboard, I found some good info on that.

Wait, so let me get this straight.

You're going to over spend on a CPU that games don't take advantage of; overspend on a motherboard that has features the OP will most likely never use, and not get a faster GPU?

You do realize this is a gaming rig.

From my vantage point, the biggest upgrades you could make are with overclocking your processor and buying a newer, better video card (along the line of at least the GTX 660 Ti or the HD 7950).

What's the brand and model (number) of the RAM that you have?

Do you have a third-party CPU cooler available?

What about the case and power supply?
