Looking for some sort of KVM?

I have a couple rooms I want to setup with computer/internet access. Instead of buying a computer for each room, I was hoping to have a server with virtualization for each room. Having each room run on the server via Ethernet.

What hardware am I looking for?

I think it would be cheaper to buy a couple basic computers than to do what you are thinking of properly. It would a lot less complicated as well.

You're thinking of I think they're called thin clients or dumb terminals. With distinct systems serving content you could do KVM over IP tech, but its pricey. Very pricey. As noted, you are probably better off just running really long cables to distinct systems or building distinct systems in each room.

kvm over ip is expensive stuff, if its not possible to run real long cables then your better off just setting up basic machines for each station.
