Hi everybody.
With my recent purchase of phenom x3 and gigabyte 780g matx motherboard rev 1.1. I decided to play with processor and see how far can I push it.
AMD overdrive utility was used, to give 300mhz overclock from 2.4 to 2.7.
So i wonder if you had simmilar situations what would be ur next step?

It looks like the processor is stable at 2.8Ghz at 1.275 at v core.
the rest of the parrameters remain unchanged.
I tried it at 2.9 but amd stability test failed at 1.30v core and 1.3125 .

at this point, can one say that 2.8 is absolute limit for the processor?
Or could tweaking with other parameter push the processor to the higher speeds?
