Hi all

Basicly I’m aiming for something like this

41712809ef8.jpg

and to be frank looks are the main target for me, CPU OC is done here

I know GPU block isn’t that important, and for me cooling the GPU is not important at all
I know NB block will cuz water line too loose pressure
but these things looks great specially that an air solution for the NB will damage the whole picture
I don’t know the size of the pipes in the pic but I think its ½ inch

my plan goes like this:
the best looking pipes (at the same size of those in the pic) out there with the best looking green liquid
the best CPU block out there
any PUMP, any RADIATOR, any GPU block, any NB block
I don’t know about the reservoir! Is there like 2 types, one that goes in the drive bays and one that is located somewhere near the pipes? Can I have both?

And do you think these things can go ok into an Armor Jr case?

thnx

That doesn't sound like the best plan to me. If you wan't to cool your whole system you are going to need a quality pump and radiator. It doesn't pay to skimp on waterblocks either.

Everything is important in a water cooling system. Think of what happens to your system if you buy cheap waterblocks that leak or if your cheap pump dies on you.

Look over this thread good and long. HERE

Thnx for the answer, actually I didn’t really mean cheap when I said “any” but I just wanted to clear the picture
The problem with this solution is that it’s so phuckin complicated and I cant really keep searching throu every manufacturer and product and review sites like I did (and still doing) to build my rig
I went throu all the topic you posted (and reading this now)

and I came with this plan…. Since its so complicated I’ll just focus on DangerDen cuz I heared a lot of people talking about it (and jump to petrastechsho if DangerDen was too pricy) (and maybe swiftnets.com)

CPU block: Copper TDX Block for Intel 775 Processors cuz it’s the only one (I guess)

GPU block: since someone hacked their site and changed the GPU block price about 80 percent more I’ll search for another blocks :(
Damn did you see that
22ro0.jpg

now I can definitely say that I’m going for the cheapest loozy floozy linky GPU block I can find

ok now I'll jump to petrastechsho or the Silverprop Fusion HL

Chipset Block: dangerden prices are ok but I’ll leave detreminin which block for now cuz it seems complicated

Tubing: guys can someone tell me what’s the size in the picture I attached in the first post, I could never tell what’s the ID/OD by myself

Pump: since it’s related to the tube size I’ll leave it now, but I think it’ll be the inline one not that one that you put inside water, and it’ll be 12v cuz it should suck the power from the PSU

But I hope the DD12V-D5 will be ok with those tubes cuz it’s the most expensive DangerDen pump (n00b rule no.17: when you don’t understand anything….pay more)

one last thing, keep in mind that I want a 3 loops system (CPU,GPU,NB) not the single CPU one in the pic

Thermaltake Aquabay M1 2U Liquid Level & Flow Indicator
swiftech MCRES-Micro res
DangerDen Fillport Reservoir

I’m serious ...can I do it??? :D (Abuse welcome)

I really need help here guys :(

edit:
what’s the real benefits of getting a tri fan rad over double fan one?
I mean is the Black Ice Xtreme III really better than the Black Ice Xtreme III?
Is the single fan rad ok? Can I use 2 rads?

No, because they're the same radiator.

Somebody had to say it.
Is the single fan rad ok? Can I use 2 rads?
The larger the radiator, the more surface area and time the liquid will have to cool down. Flow gets affected though, so choice of radiator could be important when you hit 3 fans (or dare I say, four?).

A single fan radiator could handle a single component, more or less.

Thnx for your time, sorry for being such a n00b (as usual) now I knew that I rushed to this field and I should’ve done more research
So here comes another whole new chapter, hopefully reading 2000 pages will be enough
wow I came with this now…
Chuck Norris built his WC system after reading 1000 pages only…LOL

But just to clear that question….is it ok to use multiple Reservoirs? Connect more than one Reservoir to the same Reservoir line? Not talking about suppurate Reservoirs for suppurate loops

and please guys take a look at this topic here

I just need to finalize the case choice which will be related to the water cooling
