My computer started clicking recently and it seems it may be the harddrive. I haven't kept up with anything computer related the last few years, so I don't know what I should be looking for. I have the ASUS P5N-D nForce 750i motherboard, but i may upgrade in the next year or two (to an i5 board probably/ 2500kcpu). I want to keep it under 50$ (if possible) and I don't need a lot of room. 500GB is plenty. Thanks for the help!

Well I personally use the Western Digital Green 500GB hard drive and it cost me $50. Very quiet drive and decent performance. I've had it for several years now and am very pleased with it.
