Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Has anyone ever audited Switches and Routers, specifically cisco brand. What tool did you use? I'm looking for a nessus equavelent for network hardware.
we typically use eEye Retina software to run 'scans' against the devices. There's not really a whole lot you can do (that i'm aware of) since they are hardened appliances. what you really want is to make sure your configuration is secure. For this, we use the 'security and technical implementation guides'. i'm not sure if these are available to the general public though, but they might be. All they are is a set of guidelines to help you secure your devices.
