Hello all,
This is my first time posting on the [H] forums, but I have been looking around here for the last few months checking out all the info. that I can find. I'm looking to get a little input for my next build from all of you.

I currently have a 24" monitor, 1920x1200. My new build is from the ground up, so I have flexibility when it come to parts.I am looking for some input as to what video card/cards to add to the rig. I have some ideas but sot really sure which way to go. i am currently looking at 3 set ups.

1 - 9800GTX or
1 - 8800GTX or
2 - 8800GTS's

I mainly play MMO's, RPG's & maybe one or 2 FPS's, mainly play FPS's on my 360.

I would really appreciate any input or ideas that you all might be able to offer.

Consider 2 x 9600GT if cheap enough compared to 8800GT SLI.

If it was me, I would look at buying a 8800gtx for two reasons. one, they should be a bit cheaper now as people are dumping them for 9800's, and two, it leaves you upgrade room later if you decide to go SLI.

From the type of games you just mentioned, heck 1 x 8800GTS 512Mb is good already. MSI NX8800GTS O/C for $230. Good already. Heck, I only have a 8800GT on a 28" lcd and I play the current graphic intense games like Crysis, COD4, Bioshock, Stalker, GOW and UT3. A single 8800GTX for a good price is ideal also.

Yeah. If you're not worried about Crysis (or futureproofing, I suppose), get 1x8800GTS and be done with it.
