I want to implement HA firewalls (PIX) which in turn connect to redundant managed switches (ex: cisco 2950). How the hell do i go about this?!?! Has anyone ever done this before? Any pointers?

You can put them in Active-Standy failover mode, or Active/Active failover w/ loadbalancing if running PIX 7.0 with certain combinations of licenses (read the 7.0 documentation).
You can also use a CSS or other load balancer to load balance traffic between several PIX firewalls.
