As my title says, I am at an impasse. I have two 4850's and a GTX280, currently using just one of the 4850's and the GTX280 needs an oven treatment (artifacting and crashing).

This is my internal debate. A local seller has a pair of 6970's for $550 and this seems reasonable and would satisfy my gaming requirements well or do I go with a GTX570?

I guess what I am asking all of you reading is this: Would you sell the three cards and buy the pair of 6970's or a GTX570? I usually have a clear direction planned out with my hardware, but this situation has been on my mind for a few weeks now. Also... the 6970 pair has a two day time frame on the offer.

I game on a Dell 3007WFP.
