Looking for good speaker system/Gaming Headset

Anyone ideas? My 15 dollar Logitech just broke :( and my speakers are only coming out of the 2 rears, and bass is working. Looking for a smaller speaker system, preferably 2.1
 
try doing a little search in the forum. this question has been covered MANY times.
 
If you're going from 5.1 logitech's to 2.1, don't. The lack of center speaker and less watts leaves a lot to be desired, well, that's what I think going from my 5.1 logi's to 2.1 klipsch promedia.
 
I just got the Plantronic Audio 370. $50 bucks at BB, but I really like them. Sound quality is on par with the price. I may take these back to get the more expensive Audio 770 to see if there is a real difference.
 
Thanks guys, I do have a good budget. Just wondering if anyone knows where the quality. =)

Also any ideas on gaming headsets?
 
This has been covered many times before in this forum, but if you want a "gaming" headset I would say don't. Get a good pair of headphones instead and maybe the zalman clip mic or a desk mic. If you have the money ATH-900 are supposed to be very good. As for speakers the Klipsch Promedia, Logitech z-2300 and the Swan m10 would be good places to look.
 
for gaming headphones I would go with a pair of ATH-A700 or A900 or a pair of Beyer DT770 Pro/80. The beyers are supposed to be better, and I can affirm that they are the best gaming headphones I have used, but I have not tried the ATH cans so i cannot give that comparison. They are better than Senn HD595, icemat siberias, logitech, everglide s-500 and so on.

I'm actually selling my pair of 770's now. They've been upgraded so they might be out of your price range, but you won't find a better pair of gaming cans
 
i just got an audio technica ath ad500 and can attest to their great sound. the ad700 is next on my list!
however these things are fragile as egg shells. sennheisers are more durable if u r rough on ur stuff

if u need a headSET i got the audio.370 from buy,com for 25.00
