im starting to look for a new psu cause my wires are a mess in my case. Im just wondering if the OCZ modstream cables are UV reactive and will they reach all of my components in a full tower case?

How do the modstreams compare to a powerstream?

Modstreams are good.....not quite the level of the powerstream. There is resistance in the modular cables becasue of the extra connections so be aware of that. Not ATX2.0. And the main ATX connector is short. So depending on where that is on your board you could be SOL.

Modstream is good. The cables are UV reactive blu, which is nice. Plus, they are ALOT better then Ultra X psus.

Not quite at the same level of powerstreams, but still top notch.

antec 480, 49.99 at frys i think deal is dead now though. i paid 125 for mine while back :( awsome psu

Antec Neopower, but it isn't as showy as the Modstream is. It is more expensive too, but well worth the cost.

i was really looking for something flashy = P

i saw the neopower for 100 but i dont know how to sleave and i heard it was really hard...

frozen cpu has the neo power with sleaving for 160...http://www.frozencpu.com/psu-103.html

but that is alot...

It wouldn't be very hard to sleeve a modular PSU. There is also the TTGI/Superlower Plug-N 450w and 550w PSU's available. There is a model with a 140mm fan. I have not personally seen a good review of them.....but I took the plunge anyway and bought the 550w 140mm from directron.com based on TTGI's rep just to have something ot play with. You may want to look at it but I can't really recommend it since I would be doing so only on TTGI's rep.
