Looking For Good Computer MIircophone

Hey guys =D, was wondering if anybody has an idea where i could get a good and affordable computer microphone. Its my friend's B-day soon and she likes to record her songs she sings on her computer haha. =D The thing her current mic sucks, and i have to turn up the volume to hear her singing and lots of static in the background.

=D anyhoo any helps would be good thanks ..
 
If you are wanting to get serious about sound, you probably won't buy a computer microphone. Buy a small mixing board and something like a Shure SM58...then run that into the line in of the soundcard. That's what I do. I'm a musician though, so you may not want to go through the hassle.

Or you could get a Shure mic and connect it to a XLR->1/4" cable, then a 1/4"->1/8" cable


Not a good idea, but useable nonetheless.
