I need a 10/100/1000Mbps Ethernet Switch with preferably more than 8 ports, ideally more than 12 for my business. It needs to be durable (as it will be constantly in use) and work with Debian 5.0, Mac OS X v10.6 and XP.

The Netgear Prosafe GS108 would be on the lower-mid range for my price, but seems to be one that would work with all operating systems. (Does anyone have one, quality wise would I be happy or disappointed with the product after 6 months of use?)

What can you guys recommend for me that's under $200? (Not including tax and shipping.)

I don't have a suggestion as you are looking for an unmanaged switch. Pretty much anything will work though.

I just wanted to point out that all switches will work with any operating system. This is why we have the OSI model.
 
I have used those netgear and the d link green without any complaints. Dell as well
 
HP Procurve 1400 series for unmanaged, Procurve 1800 for managed. Procurve 1910 for layer 3 ~_^
