alright first of all i am planning a backpacking trip to New Zealand this winter and i am wanting a digi cam to go with. I want something small that i can fit in my pocket easily, can use AA bats, and takes good pictures

i would say my pics will vary from huge landscapes to small close ups so i need something that will do it all


i do not know much about photography except pointing and shooting, i don't know anything about adjusting pictures after they are my computer or anything like that

so far i am looking at the Nikon 7600

I don't know much about this camera, but have always found dpreview.com to be a good site for information on cameras
