Looking for feedback on my SFF Matx case

Hello, for the past few days I have been playing around in SketchUp trying to fit nice components into a small case with a nice amount of airflow. This is my final result.

The case is about ~260mm high ~260mm width ~340mm deep

So the front 4 120mm fans are intake and the whole back of the case is going to be the hexagon honeycomb cut outs so all the air just flows out. The front of the case will have 2 usb 3.0 ports / audio out-mic / on off button and one big magnetic removable dust filter like the FT03 also for the psu fan. the side will be just plain brushed aluminum (top, left, right). I will not be including a dvd drive because I think they are fading out and plus it makes cases look ugly I will use a external usb one :]

Here are the parts I will be adding into the case

I will be trying to overclock the i7 to 5GHz I might try to oc the gpu but I doubt it.

Now I am looking for some feedback/criticism about what I can improve on the case end not the parts(im changing the mobo to an asus rog when it comes out)

Also if anyone knows where I can get custom cases made/ metal cut or anything to help me because I don't know where to look/start. The only place I found was Protocase.

Thank you everyone, also first post :D

Before you think about getting anything cut etc. you definitely need to figure out exact dimensions of all the pieces and how they will be fastened etc. It's also a bit of a waste to spend so much on fans but there are no Scythe S-flex or GT on newegg so I don't know what would be a good replacement.

To have a company build what you designed will be very expensive. Have you looked at the Qmicra V2F? It will hold everything you want. The only unknown component would be the HSF. You would need to check with Dave (owner) to see what is the biggest HSF it would fit. The Qmicra V2F is designed for modders at heart and it will also do full blown water cooling if you want that. Not trying to dissuade you from having a custom case built but if you can find something else cheaper that will do the job why not look into it, yes? The Qmicra is the cadillac of the SFF cases IMHO. It might fit your needs.

Qmicra is by far the best SFF case I've ever owned, and I've owned a few. The only downside is finding one.

I was looking at their website. Dave hasn't done a preorder yet on the next batch. Something about losing the builder and him busy on other projects. Shoot him a email and see when he plans to do one. The more people he has asking will likely prompt him to do it.

Edit: Check their forums. Sometimes they have users put theirs up for sale.

Qmicra is definitely the best matx case as long as your don't mind spending the $.

Ditch the big tower HSF and get a Corsair H70 or an Antec Kuehler 920.

It should be pretty quiet. The case uses 120m fans and the H70 should be pretty quiet. Loudest component should be the GPU under heavy load if I'm not mistaken.

looks like lian-li copied your design :)

Not really. The internal layout is completely different. And Lian-Li had that type of mesh on the front of the V300 years ago. PS deeplinking to my webspace is bad mmmkay :p

meant no harm, just thought it was pertinent with the whole 4 fans in the front.

Why? The Noctua D14 HSF outperforms the H70 in all 3 categories (Temps\Noise\Price) and it will fit in the QV2F case.

Because air cooling is soo 20th century. ;)

Anyway, my case is a revision D so I have less vertical clearance.

Pretty much all of the big really high end air coolers won't fit in my case.

Oh man that lian li v353 looks just what I want lol, I'd cut a hole in the tray above so I can jam the NH-D14 in there :D

Does anyone know their email to ask them a question because all I found was sales/tech support and others but nothing about questions?
