Hello!
Up until recently I've been using a 16GB flash drive for my file streaming needs. I have a Popcorn Hour which I had bought whe ethernet streaming was possible in my at the time residence. Since I've moved to a house and streaming is not possible and my WiFi adapter fails me at high bitrates. My flash drive has failed and I've begone shopping for an external HDD that would suit my needs. I'm hoping to find a USB powered, 2.5" drive of negligible size. I've never really shopped for one before but I've recently discovered some two usb connectors which I assume is for extra power, correct me if I am wrong. Based on the popcorn hour I/O it would be far more beneficial for me to have a single USB lead rather than two. Can anyone suggest a suitable external HDD?
Cheers,
Devin
