Hey, I have an xfx 780i motherboard, and I plan on donig some serious data backup and archiving.
I've heard that using the standard non-ecc desktop ram in my system can possibly introduce erros in the archive data, possibly rendering it useless. I haven't found any DDR2 ECC ram on the egg within my price range...All they have is a single 8GB stick that costs over $300.
I was hoping to find a 3 pack of 2GB sticks. My board only supports 8GB anyway.
Anyone have some suggestions?
