My parents want some backlit keyboards, nothing fancy, just need to light up, $50 or less preferably as I'm buying one for each of them.

Was about to give up on getting a decent brand until I saw this
http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Gami...dp_s_cp_2?ie=UTF8&refRID=19VA1F6A7H3RD3SATBW5

Wanted to know if anyone had any other recommendations though. Just needs to be a decent build quality with good lighting.

Amazon's sort by backlit function is very poor, this wasn't displayed, and some that only have a few illuminated keys are.

Thanks for the offer but I need 2 and prefer to buy new.

Can anyone give me some feedback on Perixx or AGPtek as a brand? Ever buy their products?

You can usually pick up the Logitech K800 (wireless) or K740 (wired) for around $50 if you watch for deals. I use a K800 and my wife uses a K740. I can vouch for how high quality they are, and the backlighting is excellent and can be adjusted for brightness. I highly recommend either of them.
