Not the PSOne lcd though. it has a round chip board that kinda screws up my plans for a monitor. anyone know of a good source of naked tft lcd monitors? i'm hoping to get one for under $200. is that price limit unreasonable for something like this?
 
seems all they list is 2.5" and 7". 2.5" is too small, and 7" is too large... i need something around 5"...

EDIT: *slaps forhead for not noticing the FAQ sooner...*
 
I have a 4" TFT that I may be willing to part with... I haven't come up with anything to do with it in a while. It's been sitting in a static bag for a few months now. The pcb is just about 1/2 inch bigger then the screen and it has a 1 1/2" profile. It uses coaxial video connection though.
 
yeah, i'm thinking about it (you can actually see i made a space for it at the top of the case on the picture i posted twoard the end of the thread). the center cylinder is 7" long, so i need something around 5" if it's to fit properly. i'm not sure if i'm gonna do this (maybe it's over kill?) but i'm saving room for it and researching parts for now.
 
it would be total ownage, hope that it works out properly ;) I love the Sphere project :p

i can't. it's not htat i wouldn't like to, but for what i wanna do, i need the whole setup to be square. i'm thinking of placing the screen on a swivel door of some wort, so it's hidden till you need it, and it'll be very hard to do that whatwith the psone having that annoying round circuit board in the back.
 
Any card with a tv out usually svideo you can get or make an svidei to composite converter.
 
my card has HDTV out, but if you look at the cords you will see that it includes the component, Compisit and Svideo connectors, so it will work!
