So for games like WC3 TFT, Age of empires II, Command and Conquer, Empire Earth II etc what lcd would be most suitable I was thinking of a 213T or a 2001FP but ruled out the 2005FP cause i think it would be annoying playing with stretch consoles etc unless you could just disable a section of the screen so its square but even then it would be like = to a 15 inch lcd.
 
well larger screens would certainly lend themselves to those kind of games. The Dell 2001FP, and maybe even the Dell 2405FPW would be good. if it's a WS TFT then you can either play the game with a WS resolution (if it supports it, or you can hack it so it does) or you can play with it centred and with black borders. Samsung 213T is a little old but still would be ok for static / slow images, but nothing fast paced really. The Dell 2001FP is popular and there's a lot of good things said about it :)
