Looking for a USB PCI card

I've been using my on-board USB ports on my PC on a really cheap motherboard, however, there seems to be an issue w/ one of my devices that requires quick/precise timing (a PS2 [console] controller adapter) and would like to have ports directly linked to the PCI slot. I am pretty sure it is a USB issue and not the adapter itself, only because many others use the same device and have not had the same issues as me.

Can anybody point me in the direction as to what kind I should get, I just need something cheap. It doesn't matter how many ports it has, any amount is fine. I am NOT looking for a hub or something to plug into my existing USB ports, but rather a PCI slot / new way to hookup, as I hope it would fix my problems.

Only reason I am asking in these forums is because I am unsure as to what I should be spending on something like this. I also have a local circuit city, wal-mart, and CompUSA.

Thanks!

You should be fine with any USB PCI card really, and you'll be sure to find one at any of the stores you mentioned. You're likely to see Belkin or Adaptec cards.
