For years I thought my constant tiredness, sore eyes, and mild head strain was just "too much time on the computer." Now I know better.

I use a Dell 2405FPW and did the phone camera test. Heavy flickering.

Are there better options available nowadays for low PWM/flickering? I'm looking for a good 24" monitor for text applications.
 
I'm actually a little surprised to learn that my NEC 2490wuxi with A-TW does indeed employ PWM and it makes me wonder if some minor issues I've had on occasion might be due to that.
