Looking for a program that will help me plan out my mod

Before I order the parts for my mod i need tto first be able to plan it out and see how it would look before i do any cutting or drilling, so i need the help of software, it would be great if it was free, but if it must cost something, it would need to be under $200, please guys i really need your help on this one

s/w looks like it costs around 500 but you could always dl the demo and make your design before it expires

Image Editing. You can make up images of what you plan on doing, and make sure you have everything planned out before you start.

Try Sketchup or TrueSpace. The older versions of Truespace are free. I used 3DS Max but thats very expensive.

[edit] BTW not dissing Photochop as an option. Its useful for some things
