Looking for a program like MBM

Hey all,

I'm looking for a program like MBM that will acurately track my CPU/Case temps. The reason I liked MBM, is because it kept the highs/lows, but I can't find another program that does the same.

Manually setting up the sensors in MBM ends up giving insane temps, which are inaccurate, so that's out of the question. If anyone has any ideas, I'd appreciate it!

MBM reads out the thermal sensors of your mainboard - hence it is not a question of what program you use when it comes to accuracy... or am i getting something wrong here :confused:

keep on useing MBM, other programs won't change anything.
 
No I know that. I need a program that will track the highs/lows. After running through a slew of benchmarks, I want to know what the lowest temps and the highest temps were.

MBM reads the sensors, but reads them incorrectly on my motherboard. I'm just looking for an alternative program that captures the highs/lows, but correctly, lol.
 
still don't get it - what readings does MBM spit out? are we talking *way* off here or what do you mean by saying "it reads them wrong"? i'm just asking, because some mainboards do read temps too high (abit for example), but that is not a question of MBM or whatever else program. anyways, i assume MBM does not work with your mobo.

didn't your mainboard come with its own program to monitor system health? don't know about DFI though... what mainboard are you useing?

If you go to www.dfi-street.com and do a search for MBM or motherboard monitor, you'll find someone's customized settings for MBM that will display the proper values for the DFI Ultra-D. That's what I'm using now. I verified the #'s are the same as what other monitoring software shows.

By too high, I mean that EVEREST and other programs read my CPU at around 40ºC, but once I open MBM, it changes it to 70+ºC. EVEREST doesn't allow logs as far as I know, so that's why I wanted a program to do it.

MadMike, thanks a ton, that file from the DFI forums seems to be working great so far!
