Looking for a powerful card

Ok my friend got a new computer not too long ago, but it only has intergrated graphics and a weak power supply.

so he is looking for a card that can play crysis on high/medium at 1680 x 1050 which graphics card can do this and will a corsair 620 be strong enough?

Here are the specs for what he has in it now

Intel C2D E4700 2.6 GHZ
4 GB RAM
500 GB HDD
300W power supply
Intergrated graphics

trying to keep the price below $500
 
well for under 500 you can get a 4870 a GTX 260 or even a GTX280. You cant go wrong with either of those solutions

Hmm...looking at that powersupply...now thats perty week....I think your best bet if you absolutely wanna keep the 300wat ps is a Radeon HD 4850 or lower. The 4870 would be cutting it too close .That 300 wat ps is a major bottleneck.
