Looking for a new mouse

I'm in the market for a new mouse as well. I picked up a G502 after all the glowing reviews. But after using it for a few days, I really don't like it. Feels to narrow to me.

Normally I like to get the product that has the best reviews and shit, but this is one of the rare times when the "best" product wasn't the best for me personally. I'm planning on picking up a Deathadder today, trying them side by side, then returning the loser. Just from the few seconds I played with a Deathadder at Best Buy, it felt really good to me.

Yeah, generally review of mice are generally concentrated on its technical aspects (such as button build, layout, sensor, build quality etc), it's really hard to review its ergonomics because it's almost entirely dependent on your own hand and brain.

My own experience with G502 and DA were the opposite, G502 felt heavy initially, but after getting used to it, the DeathAdder felt too light lol. Though this is trying the demo mouse, I have never used Razer mice.

I own both and youre exactly right. The G502 is just a little too narrow. If it had just a little more width to it, it might be the perfect mouse. I was able to get used to it after a week or so. The sensor and button layout is so good that it really is worth it to try and give it time to grow on you . If youre a FPS guy, the Sniper button is great and located almost perfectly for my hand. I never hit it accidentally and only have to move just slightly in order to reach it. I use the 2 buttons just to the left of the left click as a page up and page down and have come to not be able to live without them when navigating thru sites. And as has already been stated, the sensor is near perfect.

However if you just cant live with it then the DeathAdder will most likely be perfect for you because it is just a little wider and is better shaped to fit in your hand. The sensor is excellent but not as good as the 502's. If it werent for that damn Sniper button and those 2 buttons I use for page up and down, Id use mine more often but everytime I do I find myself missing those extra features.

Corsair Vengeance M65 mouse comes with a powerful censer. Its works very smooth. I am using this and I love to use this.
