Well I have search the forums for a little bit and for some interesting information, however I am still up in the air whether I should go with a 22'' LCD (Do not know make or model) or cough up a little more and get a 24'' LCD, again I do not know what make or model to go with.

If some one can give me more direcdtion on where to do I would really appreciate it. I do quite a bit of gaming as well as 3D Animtion work in Maya and Flash 8.

Thanks

Each 22 incher I have come across has had a slightly crappier dot pitch than the 20 inchers. (they both have 1680x1050 res) Maybe it is just my eyes, but I like 20s more than 22s .

I would either go with a relatively inexpensive 20 inch or get a Dell 2407WFP

The 22" monitors have TN panels, which means poor verticle viewing angles and inferior colors (though unnoticeable by most people who are not artists). They also have issues with backlight uniformity in just about every case. They are 1680x1050 res.

The 24" monitors have S-PVA panels, which have somewhat poor horizontal viewing angles. They are 1920x1200 res, so you'd better have a very good graphics card if you plan on gaming on one of these.

Tough choice. Neither is perfect. Personally, I'd rather go for the 24", but only if I had an 8800GTX, which I don't.
