Yep, its for my dream machine.
I've got my MX510 all set-up and am looking for a keyboard.
I don't really want wireless, but it's ok.

Any suggestions of a good practical gaming keyboard?

Jeff
(If not I'm taking my Dell Quietkey to it)

IBM Model M

Loudest keyboard out there, but good size keys and plenty of space around them. Also has a great feel to them.

Plus it weighs like 3 lbs so it also makes a great club.

i really love the logitech elite keyboard, at work i'm always using the buttons and scroll tab on the left. its fantastic.

I'm about to make an unpopular suggestion, but I LOVE my ergonomic keyboard. It's one of the fairly basic microsoft ergonomics but it's great for typing and games (as long as you are a WASD man). I don't get any of the hand pains that I used to with standard keyboards.

I know this is going to be a REALLY odd suggestion, but I like the $10 GE keyboard that bestbuy sells. I'd like a wireless setup, given my current layout in my living room, but I don't want lag, so I'm sticking with corded for now.

Bear in mind that GE keyboard doesn't have multimedia buttons, so if that's what you want, disregard this suggestion.

I love my Logitech Elite KB exepte the drives are stuff that wants to install musicmath but the KB itself it great,

I love my Eluminx. Expensive, but I love the action on the keys and having a light up keyboard really impresses the ladies. Well, I haven't gotten any ladies in my room lately, but I'm sure when they do come they will be impressed :D.

Will that stand up to the test if the ladies start getting a little rowdy?

I love my Logitech Elite keyboard. Its pretty much indescructible. I can smash it as hard as I can on my desk, though the keys fly off, it still works perfectly after I put it back together. I payed $20 for it at a computer show.
