I recently changed my case from a full tower to a Lian-Li PC-65 Plus. The case fans in this case are already a bit louder than my old set up, but my CPU is also running a bit hotter, (around 45 C). The cooler fan kicks up to 5K+ and screams the whole time.

I am trying to find a cooler that will work inside the case, and bring the noise down. I have checked out quite a few from Thermaltake, Thermalright, and also looked at the Artic Cooling 64 Freezer. I was a little concerned about the size. I am not sure if they would fit. I am assuming that with most of them I would have to remove the duct that forces air from the outside of the case onto the HSF.

General info on my set up is:
AMD 64 3200
DFI LanParty 250GB
Corsair 3200 Pro LL (two sticks)

Since I am using two sticks of ram, I am forced to put them in teh two slots closest to teh CPU.

I am looking for solid cooling that won't sound like I have a leaf blower on my desk. If possible I would like to leve the duct that blow sin cool air in place, si I need to be able to have the fan on the cooler set up to suck air vice blow.

Freezer 64 pro will work, but you are correct, you will not be able to use the duct. It one of the best coolers for the price. If you want more performance, i would say pick up a Ninja Plus. both are extremely quiet
