I've been looking at cases for a few weeks now and haven't really found much that appeals. I've owned a P180, Antec 900, Lian Li A05-b, Silverstone SG03 (which I still use, and will keep using). I'm looking for something below $300 shipped.
I love the Lian Li and Silverstone styling cues (barring their latest gaudy crap) and am looking for a case that lends itself well to cabling, minimizing noise (so 120mm fan mounts for aftermarket fans, unrestricted vents), and room for a crossfire system (mobo is not important- I use a crossfire matx board). I don't need hard drive space in particular or to use the optical drives- I love a minimalist look. I just want something that is easy to work in, cable cleanly.
The latest Silverstone FT01 cases looked pretty appealing but the negative review from bit-tech has me wondering. I've also looked at the Lian Li V1000 but haven't found any real inspiration either.
Does anybody have some quick suggestions, cases off the top of their heads that fit my needs? Or cases that really exceeded their initial expectation?
Strong candidates right now for me are the Antec Solo or Lian Li V350, possibly the LL V600.
