Looking for a multi-function printer

I am looking for a multi-function printer that should have these functionalities

1) LaserJet (will never go for ink jet again)
2) Colored
3) Automatic Duplex Printing
4) Printing, photocopying, scanning and fax
5) Touch Screen
6) Low cost of printing, don't want something that has expensive tonar
7) Good photo printing, will be an added advantage. Although I don't expect it to print as good as an inkjet printer

In my life I've only purchased HP Printer. Don't know any other vendor that provide good printers as HP. I will never make a mistake of purchasing an inkjet printer again where I have to replace a cartridge every 4-5 months, irrespective of usage. I am looking for a good reliable printer to perform above mentioned tasks and should last for atleast 5 years.

What's your budget like? 3 and 6 are really going to drive up the costs something fierce given the cheaper ones won't have duplexing and will have chipped toner cartridges. Chipped toners == only buy from the manufacturer for a while until third party chips show up.

Brother MFC-9340cdw. I have one, and it is awesome. Hits all of your points, except for I'm not sure about the toner cost...haven't had to buy any. Toner looks to be ~$70/color for OEM. Compatible toner carts seem to run about $102 for a set of 4.

One major advantage of Laser printers over inkjet printers is, the cost of printer is high, but the print cost is almost 1/10 per page, when compared with inkjet printers. So why are these tonars so expensive?

Because on the consumer grade they still make most of their money on consumables vs. the printer itself. Hence the chipped toners to prevent you from using cheaper third party stuff.
One generally doesn't see that on the high end multifunction stuff. Think giant ones that you see in offices, ones that i've seen some of them where you just fill up the thing with the powder directly.

Compared to traditional inkjet cartridge, how much can a consumer save on tonars? Although my main reason to switch from inkjet to laser printers is not just for saving cost of printing, but the fact that laser printers tend to be more reliable, have better resell value. Although with inkjet printers you can print better pictures, but I hate the fact that ink will always dry up, irrespective of usage. Inkjet printers create huge problems in humid weather.
