Looking for a mouse recommendation

just received the Logitech Performance Mouse MX and first impressions are very favorable. Fits my hand much better then the G9. Don't know about battery life but I do like the replaceable battery and the receiver is very small and should not cause any clearance problems. The size of the receiver is what got me looking for another wireless, my new laptop has all of the usb connectors on the sides and the bigger receivers were causing problems.

well I have been using the G500 for a day now and I have mixed feelings with it. I miss my old grip (used fingers instead of palming it). however the control and feel are awesome. wasn't as good as the creative but its close.

Just got the Logitech G500 ($30, assuming rebate works) and I prefer it to the G9. The G9 just does not fit my hand, I have ordered a different grip and will try it when it comes in. For now the G500 will replace the G9. The G500 is an upgraded G5 and will do just about anything the G9 does, except for the stored profiles.

Order of preference so far:

G500
Performance Mouse Mx
G5
G9
