Hey there...OK...I've always wanted to lap some stuff...I have read a few guides and they are all different in some way...some used polishes and some didn't...some went up to 1000 grit and some went higher...some were real detailed and some were real short and not very descriptive...some had lots of pics and some had none

I was wondering what would the most recommended lapping guide would be for a newbie like me...I wanna lap my north bridge heatsink, cpu heatsink, vid heatsink, and my ramsinks

I saw a real good one that I was gonna use somewhere in the forums but the search is down and will prolly never ever be up again so I can't search for it...any ideas on which one I should use??? THANX
C'YA

I just found a store that sells copper sheet metal...you can prolly practice on it if your new and nervious about screwing up your expensive heatsink...I might get some...it's not very expensive...just a few bux...haven't checked s/htho...hope it's not too much

HERE'S a link to get a lapping kit...it's prolly cheaper to get instead of going to Home Depot and getting all the sandpaper and paying tax and stuff...that is if you don't have the sand paper already...I might look into getting this
